My world.

My world.

Memories of cool zephyr

Playing with the shadowy hairs

On my head,

Lifting them towards the sky.

Memories of the blustery, winter gale

Teasing the murky hairs

On my head,

Reminding them of their prison

Named skin.

Ultramarine waves that ripple

With refracted sunlight

And dissolve into

The sand

Shimmery turquoise waters

With crimson tinged under hues

And hypnotising depths.

Undiluted laughter that forms

An impenetrable barrier

Around my heart

With fear nothing but a word

Locked in the capsule

Of a blank page.

Fear burrowing into the crevices

Of my mind

And staining my thoughts.

Loss forming indestructible

Frost cells

Around my heart.

I am protected by

Amber tinted sunglasses

That caramelize my view

Like sweet toffee.

Angst blinded eyes

That distort my view

Into a kaleidoscope

Of uncertainty.

This is my world.
