Novella Announcement

I just published my debut novella The Fledgling! I began writing the book in the 9th grade, and I am so glad it is finally available. This process has taught me a lot about resilience because I usually write short pieces, so completing the novella was a big challenge.

About the Book:

Aarya, a teenager trying to get through high school and forget her past, is assigned a group project in her Environmental Studies class that forces her to confront her childhood. Nightmares about the past she has desperately tried to bury come back to haunt her. She goes on bird-watching expeditions to nature reserves in Singapore with her group, but pretending all is well may turn out to be impossible.

Will Aarya succeed in fighting her demons? Or, will her group figure out something is wrong, causing her guise to unravel and her identity to fall apart?
