Autumn

When leaves pace the wind

And drape around tree barks like

Feathery blankets

Winter

We imagine the

Sunshine above snow blankets

And heavy boot soles

Summer

If summer ever

Arrives will we stay or melt

Away with the ice

Butterfly

Cocoon lies empty

Security traded for

The freedom of wings

Resent

Hurt eyes, then silence

Oceans of empty space choked

With our unsaid words

Note: First time trying my hand at a few haikus, I tried to focus on creating vivid images, as is the nature of haikus.
